Entheogenic plants and mushrooms within the Church
The Church can speak about sacred mushrooms and plant traditions without turning curiosity into reckless instruction.
Within the Church, entheogenic plants and mushrooms belong first to the symbolic, historical and cultural layer. They can appear in Scripture, myth, art and reflection. Science belongs in another register: cautious, sourced, specific and honest about uncertainty.
This article exists as a boundary marker. The site may later discuss research, history, ritual language and cultural meaning, but it should not promote illegal use, medical self-treatment or casual claims about healing.
The mushroom may be a sacred sign. That does not make every claim sacred, safe or proven.
Future Observatory texts can separate four levels: what is established, what is plausible, what is speculative, and what belongs to the poetic voice of the Scripture.
